The Ruusee Company was founded in 2015 by sisters Rumiko Nakayama and Shima Shiozawa, who hail from Shizuoka, Japan—a region facing the Pacific Ocean and nestled at the foot of Mount Fuji. With a background in banking, Rumiko specializes in finance, while Shima, with experience in the licensing business, focuses on planning, sales, and marketing. By leveraging their respective strengths, they have successfully built strong relationships with numerous clients and partners. Since its establishment, the company has expanded its business beyond Japan to Asia and the world.
